Flag Football

 Sunday Night...Flag Football?

On a crisp cool Sunday night Oregon State students came out to compete in an intramural flag football game. From all different grade levels and majors they all had one thing in common. The love for Football. Ethan Hemstead a player for the yellow team told me that a lot of the guys on his team used to play in high school and miss the thrill of going out and competing. From a personal opinion although it's all for fun both teams take it very seriously. Prior to the game both teams could be seen practicing different plays and listening to music to get pumped up. Even though it may not exactly be PAC-12 football under the lights, it's great to see students back participating in intramural sports after being completely remote last year.

A red team member attempts to pull the flag
of the yellow teams quarterback before he throws
it to his teammate.
At the snap of the ball a red team wide receiver attempts to
get open down the field. The game featured students involved
in different clubs and fraternities.

The quarterback scans the field to see who is open
as his teammate attempts to block the oncoming defense.
